There are several areas of pharmaceutical production which require products to control foaming throughout the duration of the process. Antibiotic, Enzyme and other fermentation processes are the most common with Antifoam 86/013 as the antifoam of choice for this niche application. It is designed to give excellent all-round process control, is sterilisation stable and is also available in a kosher grade where required (BC 98/007K).
