Car Care (Automotive products)

At Basildon we take great pride in the silicone emulsions and fluids that we produce for the car care formulating industry.

Silicones are primarily used to modify or enhance the characteristics of other ingredients in either a polish, wax or protectant formula. There are some functions within a car care formulation that only silicone can produce or no other ingredient can perform better.

Antifoam AR20	Alkali and acid stable antifoam emulsion containing 20% silicone for industrial applications
BC 2105	Micro emulsion of an amino modified silicone (INCI: Trimethylsilyl Amodimethicone and C11-15 Pareth-5 & C11-15 Pareth-9). Used as a conditioning agent in hair care formulations and in car care and household formulations.
BC 2153	Polyether modified silicone. (PEG-12 Dimethicone), used in hair care, skin care and cosmetic formulations. Emulsifier.
BC 2231 (Car Care)	Blend of high viscosity silicone gum and volatile silicone (Cyclopentasiloxane and Dimethiconol), for use in car care preparations.
BC 2268	Emulsion containing 35% silicone for use as a mould release agent in food applications, especially PET packaging
BC 2275 (Household)	Micro emulsion of high viscosity dimethyl silicone for use in the production of clear cleaners and polishes.
BC 2366	Emulsion of an amino modified silicone, used as a conditioning agent in hair care formulations (INCI: Amodimethicone and Trideceth-12 and Cetrimonium Chloride). Also used in car care and household formulations.
BC 330/60	Emulsion concentrate containing 60% silicone for use as a mould release agent or as an ingredient in car care and household formulations.
BC 330EPHV	Emulsion of high viscosity silicone used as a mould release agent or as an ingredient in car care and household formulations.
BC 330LV	Emulsion containing 35% silicone for use as a mould release agent or as an ingredient in car care and household formulations.
BC 338	Emulsion containing silicones and montan wax. Used as a concentrate for production of furniture and leather polish formulations.
BC 403 (Household & Car Care)	Polyether modified silicone for use in a wide range of automotive and household products.
BC 404	Polyether modified silicone for use as a flow additive in coating applications.
BC 85/76	Emulsion containing 35% silicone for use as a mould release agent or as an ingredient in car care and household formulations.
BC 88/161	Emulsion concentrate containing 60% silicone for use as a mould release agent or as an ingredient in car care and household formulations.
BC 90/080 (Household)	Emulsion containing 50% high viscosity silicone fluid (Dimethicone), for use in automotive polish and household cleaners
BC 91/023	Emulsion of 60% low viscosity silicone used as an ingredient in car care and household formulations.
BC 93/018	Emulsion of a high viscosity silicone and an amino modified silicone. Used in car care and horse grooming formulations.
BC 98/073 (Car Care)	Phenyl modified silicone (Phenyl Trimethicone), for use in car care formulations.
BC 99/099 (Household)	Emulsion of an alkyl modified silicone (Stearyl Dimethicone), used in, car care and household formulations.
BC Silicone Fluids	Basildon Chemicals silicone fluids, (also known under the names of Polydimethylsiloxane and Dimethicone fluid) are available as a range of various viscosities and used in a wide variety of food, cosmetic and industrial applications. BC Volatile Silicone 4	Volatile silicone fluid (Cyclotetrasiloxane).
BC Volatile Silicone 5	Volatile silicone fluid (Cyclopentasiloxane or Cyclomethicone), used as an ingredient in hair care, skin care, cosmetic and household formulations.
