Functional Silicone Emulsions

Basildon Chemicals prides itself on the incredibly high quality of its functional silicone emulsions. Almost 40 years as a supplier in the industry has given us a wealth of experience in manufacturing silicone emulsions of various silicone types, functional modifictaion, viscosities, particle sizes and emulsifier systems. Our emulsions of functional silicone fluids have been used primarily in the industries of home and automotive care, and personal care and cosmetics. These two very different industries both require that the shine created by their formulations is as long lasting as possible.

The positive charge on our amino modified silicones is attracted to any substrate with a negative charge such as strands of hair,  car bodywork, and tyres as some examples. Our emulsions of silicone quaterniums and other amino modified silicones can easily be incorporated into aqueous formulations, dramatically improving the durability of the gloss and shine created by your product.
